The Customer’s Requirements
The customer needed a tethered home charger positioned on the exterior wall beside the property’s access path. The charger needed to be easy to reach when the vehicle was parked while keeping the attached charging cable tidy and clear of the walkway.
The existing consumer unit was on the first floor, so the installation required a planned cable route down to the ground-floor charger location. The design also had to accommodate the protection needed for a dedicated EV charging circuit.
Installing the Tethered Zappi EV Charger
