Adding the Fox ESS Inverter and Battery
Electric11 mounted the Fox ESS hybrid inverter and battery on an exterior brick wall, creating an accessible equipment area without taking up useful space inside the home. The installation included clearly positioned AC and DC isolators, protected cabling and a neat containment route between the system components.
The 5.18 kWh battery allows the property to retain more electricity from the solar array for use later in the day. Updating the Electrical Protection
The solar and storage equipment required safe integration with the home’s electrical system. Electric11 installed the necessary DC and AC cabling, protective devices and isolators between the roof array, hybrid inverter, battery and consumer unit.
