The Challenge

Laboratories rely on specialist equipment that must be positioned where procedures can be carried out efficiently. The existing socket arrangement did not provide sufficiently convenient power access across the workbenches.

Additional outlets were therefore required to support the laboratory’s equipment and reduce the need to run flexible leads across working areas. The installation also needed to accommodate existing benches, equipment and wall finishes without creating unnecessary disruption.

Our Solution

Following an assessment of the room and its equipment, Electric11 planned suitable positions for a series of additional double sockets.

The outlets were installed on the surface or within trunking, depending on the requirements of each location. This approach allowed the new wiring to be routed neatly while preserving access for inspection and future maintenance.

Testing and Compliance
