Electric11 are MCS & NAPIT registered Solar Panel and Battery storage Installers, we recently installed solar panels on a Pagurek Standing Seam roof. This is a description of how we did it, and the products we used.
Initially we had an issue finding the correct mounting system. As MCS registered installers we can only use MCS registered products for installation. Pagurek were really helpful and sent us some information on the roof and suggested a seam clamp we could use, With the roofing sheet that the customer had already installed on their roof. They had installed the RETRO 25.554 with a SEAM HEIGHT of 25mm.
We used the Clenergy Universal Klip-lok Interface with Z-Module Channel, Part No: ER-I-33 Seam Mounting Clamp. It is part of the Clenergy Non-Penetrative Solar roof mounting range
As part of the same range Clenergy have also brought out this Solar Roof Pro Universal Inter/End Clamp 30-46mm. The great thing about this clamp is as it states its universal, you can just rotate the clamp in the Universal Klip-lok. So there is no need for mid or end clamps, this one does it all.
The great thing about this system is it doesn’t then require any additional rails, which reduced weight loading and installation time. Once we had got our measurements correct and our string lines set out the installation was quite easy and straight forward.
